Last year a letter came into school, so we thought it would be a good challenge for us to aim to get the Fairtrade School Award by July 2013.
What are our aims as a fairtrade school?
We want to promote fairtrade products with staff, parents and pupils and to understand the important work fairtrade farmers do.
What has already been accomplished over the past year?
We shared School Assemblies, visitors and speakers to school, a banana farmer from St Vincent, the tuck shop and coffee mornings, as well each class electing a Fairtrade representative, and we have done fairtrade learning log.
