Time for a rest

After a busy term, we are now on our Easter Holidays for 2 weeks, a chance to relax, have fun and prepare for the last term of the year.
We wish everyone an enjoyable holiday, and will see you all back to school on Monday 13th April.

Easter Approaches!

The season of Lent is flying by, and next week we will be in the most important week of the Church's year, Holy week.  To commemorate and prepare for the most Holy of celebrations, we are going to share in the Washing of the Feet on Thursday, remembering Jesus washing His apostles feet on Holy Thursday, and on Friday, we will celebrate Mass together as a school, a lovely way to end the term.

Red Nose Day at St. Joseph's

On Friday 13th March 2015 Red nose Day took place. The theme was make your face funny for money. Everyone looked so funny! Money collected goes to Comic Relief to support the poor people in England and many other  countries. This day turned out even better when you were allowed to get your face painted.

St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School

After being very close neighbours for so many years, looking at each other through the fence, St. Joseph's Catholic Infant School and St. Joseph's Catholic Junior School amalgamated at the beginning of January, forming St. Joseph's Catholic Primary school. It is a very exciting time for the school, as we build stronger links and make plans for the future of our school, from Foundation stage all the way up to Year 6.  Currently the staff and children are working on creating our new Mission statement, and later in the year, we will focus on a new logo, representing our primary status.
Lots of fun times and changes ahead!
