Goodbye Mary's Meals

In the school we have been doing something called Marys Meals for children in Africa that don't have anything for school. Yeasterday all the stuff you have brought in was packed up and sent off.  Well done everyone -  44 bags have been  filled with all the things sent in,for the the children in need. Nearly everyone brought something in and we all thank you for doing this for the children in Africa. The bags are filled with
Pencils
Books
pencil cases etc
flipflops
t-shirts and shorts etc.

Thank-you and a Merry Christmas :)

Year 6 Poetry Trip

2 weeks ago a group of year 6 children went on a trip to the Luton Library Theatre in the town centre, to meet a poet form London.
While we were there he taught us about poems and some of his life. We learnt a variety of different things, such as how to build up our own poem.
He also read out one of his own poems, this is the poem:

Me poem
Me me me Me me me Me me me Me me Me me Me. That enough about me!
