Football

Last week,  the Year 6 football team played a match against Beechwood. They all tried hard but especially St.Josephs as they won eight one!  We found out the other day in assembly that they are training with a new Luton Town coach every week to continue to build up their skills. They're even training in the rain right as we speak!    We guess they really want to win there next match!

Obviously the training is paying off, as this week they wond against Dallow - 5-2!                                                                                                Keep it up, Boys!

Paralympic experience

On Thursday 27th of September 10 girls from St. Joseph's went to Putteridge high school on a day full of Paralympic activities. They took part in many fun and active activities. These included: wheelchair basketball (with a little help from the teachers), sitting vollyball, blind goal ball, kurling, make a mascot, Quiz (which to girls from year 6 won), make up a new paralympic sport (St Joseph's won again) and where the olympics/paralympics will be in 2020. Being the only primary school taking part, we were awarded best team playing wheelchair basketball, the year 6s were very proud. Our prize was two packets of maltesers which the girls all shared on the bus journey home!!
