Up on the roof
Just as you probably have noticed, we are having the Library roof repaired. Everyone must stay on the main playground and stay away from any building materials in the Year Six area. It is for our own safety! The roof has been damaged for some time, so when it has rained, the ceiling in the Library hasleaked. Hopefully, when they finish repairing it, leaks will be a thing of the past. Just remember, stay away from the Yr 6 area!

The new football book for playleaders
We have just introduced a new book for Football at lunchtimes, to help organise who was where in the line and prevent disputes. It's a big help for many people including you and the playleaders. Its a great way to keep the football going smoothly, or otherwise there will be no football and we know you don't want that!

Remberance day
This Sunday is Remembrance day, where we have 2 minutes silence to think about the Soldiers that have died in the wars and others that have died in our family.
School Buddies
The caps have arrived, and we can now see our new School Buddies on the playgrounds each breaktime. What's a school buddy? It is someone who you can trust, someone you can rely on, someone who will be your friend. If you are down find your school buddy and they WILL CHEER YOU UP.

Guy Fawkes Night
This Saturday was Bonfire Night, in other words Guy Fawkes night. That day is called Guy Fawkes day because Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament. Unfortunately, Guy Fawkes hired a very unreliable person, that informed his friend in Parliament that they were going to blow up Parliament on that day and his friend reported him to the King. Guy Fawkes was executed, along with his fellow conspirators.
That's were we get Bonfire Night. I hope you all had fun watching the fire works!

Last week, some year sixes sold Poppy's to the whole school. The money goes to the royal British Legion. We hope everyone gave a generous donation towards the charity. The money helps families with someone that has died. They also help soldiers with injuries.
