Wrap up warm
As the weather gets colder, the clocks go back and the nights get darker,we need to wear warm clothes and wrap up in coats. Remember to wear a coat to school because you will need it at break time in this cold weather. Gloves and scarves will also be a good idea too.
So, wrap up warm and enjoy the winter!

Trick or Treat
Can you believe we are in school on Halloween? In the past, it has happened very rarely, but hopefully it won't happen as much in the future!
Are you going trick or treating this year?
When you go out Trick or Treating, don't eat too many sweets as we have school the next day and don't stay out too long! Remember, if houses have pumpkins out then it is safe, but if not... Just stay away from those houses. Have a trick up your sleeve because some people are quite cheeky and will ask for a trick. Plus, it will probaly bring you more sweets too!

Sports hall athletics
On Friday the 7th of October, 18 of the year 6 kids went to the Sports Hall Athletics event in the Regional Sports centre in Stopsley. After taking part in running, jumping and throwing events, we came 5th overall. We are proud of our accomplishment though some thought we could have done better. Nonetheless, the team had a great time!

Wear it pink
To support the breast cancer campaign, St Josephs Catholic Juinor school are asking students to wear some pink accessories such as pink socks, pink ties, pink hairbands etc. on Tuesday 18th October. But no pink hair dye! There will be a cup with a pink ribbon in each classroom where students can put a small donation. All the money will go towards breast cancer campaign.
